In Development – game modes not finished/not working correctly yet
1. Hit the POWER switchΒ
2. Choose your tool MODE from the dropdown
3. Tune around with your mouse or keyboard
4. Copy those callsigns!
Just listen and learn! The decoder shows you everything in real-time. No pressure, no scoring – perfect for getting your ear in. Watch the callsigns appear as labels above the signals when decoded.
Ready to test yourself? Type in just the callsign. You get 3 tries:
– 1st try = 10 points
– 2nd try = 5 points
– 3rd try = 2 points
The ultimate challenge! Copy the callsign AND all the bunkers (like B/G-1234).
Points: 1 for callsign + 1 per bunker. Partial credit given!
Example: M0ICR B/G-1000 B/G-0234 B/G-2891
CLICK the panadapter to jump to a frequency
SCROLL the mouse wheel for fine tuning (100 Hz steps)
< key = tune DOWN 100 Hz
> key = tune UP 100 Hz
TIP: The orange line shows where you’re tuned!
QSB – Signal fading (makes it harder!)
NOISE – Background static (realistic!)
DECODER – Shows decoded text (Practice mode only)
POWER – Turn it all on/off
DIFFICULTY LEVELS (Game modes only)
– Beginner: 12 WPM, strong signals, no fading
– Intermediate: 18 WPM, mixed signals
– Advanced: 25 WPM, weak signals, QSB enabled
GREEN callsign labels appear above signals you’ve decoded
S-METER shows signal strength
FREQUENCY shown in MHz (e.g., 7.025.3)
DECODED TEXT displays what you’ve copied
SCORE shows your points and accuracy (game mode)
In Practice mode, the decoder is VERY forgiving – if you can hear it, it’ll decode it!
Signals last 1-4 minutes before changing
In Bunker Hunter, bunkers can be typed in ANY order
Look for the cyan signal spikes on the panadapter
Weak signals at the edge are worth the challenge!
Start with Practice β Move to Callsign Game β Master Bunker Hunter!
Each station sends: CQ UKBOTA DE (callsign) (bunkers)
Example: CQ UKBOTA DE G3XYZ B/G-0042 B/G-1337 B/G-2999
CQ UKBOTA = Calling all UK Bunkers On The Air
DE = “from” in morse-speak
(callsign) = The operator’s callsign
B/G-#### = Bunker reference (0001-3000)
Have fun and 73!
